Thoughts of the Lady in the Tower

I found a house!

On Tuesday it'll be official. As official as it will get until June anyway. I've found a house. It's a townhouse at Perry Station at River Watch. It's the Trenton, and the front will look like the first one in the picture.

So, some details . . . it's off of 210, Indian Head Highway. For those not familiar with the area, it's a great commuting location to DC. I don't work in DC, but Richard doesn't have a job . . . yet. Plus, it's almost guaranteed (as much as anything in real estate is) to hold its value. In 5 years, they may run the metro train down to Indian Head, and then it'd be worth A LOT.

It's a small community, 30 townhouses and 50 houses. Behind the townhomes is a wooded hill, and in front are the homes. Between the development and the river are 10 acres of permanent park/woodland. The city is (will be?) developing the river front with a board walk and gazebos and such, so that will be nice. It's close to the river, but not very flood-able (the riverbank is a HIGH bluff).

::sigh:: $250k for 1500 square feet? The location's good, the floor plan is nice, and it'll be brand new.
